Charger Too Much for Men's Basketball

Lancaster, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College men's basketball team dropped to Lancaster Bible in NEAC conference action Tuesday night. 

Joseph Kehoe led the Lions with 12 points, going 3-6 from the arc.  James Flagg scored nine points and seven rebounds.  Troy Steed scored seven points and pulled back seven points. 

Lancaster Bible kept the Lions in single digits till Kehoe made a lay up at 14:18, 17-11.  Chargers went on a 8-0 run to build their lead to 25-11 at 12:28.  The Lions would battle back to keep Lancaster Bible within 10 points till 5:11, 33-23.  The Chargers would go into the break with a 13 point lead. 

The Lions came out in the second half with a 4-0 run to cut the Chargers lead to nine points at 18:28. With Lancaster Bible trying to build their lead to double digits, but Bryn Athyn would keep them at bay and within eight points at 13:50. But the Chargers picked up their offensive pressure to build their lead to 19 points, 62-43 with 9:31 left in the game.  The Lions would try to battle back, but it wasn't enough to take down the Chargers in conference match up.
