How It Happened:

Bryn Athyn College had a strong first half scoring 52 points compared to 28 from Penn college. The Wildcats opened the contest with a three pointer and a jump shot. The Lions mirrored their score with a lay up from Lamarr Crenshaw and a three pointer from Devante Laws to a 5-5 tie. After a lay up from Ben Sosa, the Wildcats would see their last lead, 7-5, of the game before the Lions went on a rampage. The home team would consistently find an answer to the visiting team's full court press that led them to 10 fast break points in the first half.

In the second half, the Lions continues to beat the pressure defense that led to 30 fast break points in transition. The Wildcats simply found no answer to stop the run and to the large deficit created in the first half. While Bryn Athyn took their largest lead 76-39 on a fast break lay up by Carlos Perez with 11:59 left to play, the closest Wildcats came to was a 23 point deficit with 58 seconds to go. By then, every player on the Lions bench saw action time in a 111-85 victory.

The 111 points is currently the men's basketball team's highest single game score in program history.
