How It Happened:

Bryn Athyn College found themselves behind Gallaudet University early when the Bisons scored three baskets in a row to take a 6-0 lead. A back-to-back lay up from Troy Steed and Lamarr Crenshaw close the gap to two points and that was as close as the Lions would get. The Bisons would score 13 straight points before Austin Nyekan added two free throws and a lay up to halt the Bisons' run. At intermission, the Lions found themselves behind 31-14.

After the break, the Lions stayed competitive and scored 28 points compared to 32 from the Bisons. Steed scored the first basket of the second half on a lay up and the deficit was 15 points (31-16). This would be the closest the competition gets as Lions simply could not find an answer for the Bisons. At the end of the game, the 63-42 finale belong to the home team. Gallaudet swept the regular season against Bryn Athyn for the second straight year.

* Crenshaw finished with team high 11 points.

* Senior forward Stephan Tucker had nine points.

Bisons' Top Performers:  

* Raymond Nelson and Andy Cruz finished with game high 15 and 13 points respectively. 

* Nelson also added 10 rebounds for his double-double performance.

* Bisons had 17 assists while the Lions had nine. 

* Lions had 12 steals while the Bisons had eight .

* Bisons out rebounded the Lions 47-32.
