Bryn Athyn Pa- The Bryn Athyn men's basketball team hosted Cazenovia on Sunday afternoon at Asplundh Field House. The Lions were defeated Cazenovia 81-64 in NEAC action.

The Lions jumped out to an early lead when Stephan Tucker hit a three pointer. The Wildcats answered to take the lead back. Christian Rivera hit a three pointer to give the Lions a 8-7 lead. With the Wildcats holding a 14-8 lead, Adonis Rosario made a jump shot and Deion Boyer finished off a three point play to make the score 14-13. The Wildcats extended their lead to 10 over the next few minutes. The Lions would get back within four after Christian Rivera was fouled after he made a lay up and made the free throw to make the score 29-25. Both teams exchanged baskets and the half ended with the Wildcats leading the Lions 34-27.

Adonis Rosario and Christian Rivera scored the halfs first points getting the Lions back to within in three, 34-31. At the 12:51 mark, the Lions cut the lead to two 47-45 after a Troy Steed lay up. With the score 49-47 after two Devante Laws free throws, the Wildcats went on a 11-0 run. The Lions would not be able to recover from that point. The Lions would be down as much as 19 with 1:38 left in the game. The Wildcats defeated the Lions 81-64.

The Lions were led by Christian Rivera with 15 points. Adonis Rosario, Deion Boyer and Troy Steed each had 9 points. 

The Lions are back in action on Tuesday February 16th as they travel to take on Gallaudet in NEAC play.
