How It Happened:

In the first half, Bryn Athyn College was able to get ahead of Wilson College early in the contest and lead by their largest advantage of 21-13. The Phoenix would eventually close our the first half strong by taking a slim 32-30 lead into intermission. 

With the second half featuring eight ties early, it was Wilson College that scored 11 straight points after a 51-51 statement before the Lions halted their run on a three pointer. Seven straight pointers from Stephan Tucker and a three pointer by Devante Laws would be as close as the Lions would get, 61-67. After the Phoenix close out the period with seven additional points, back to back baskets from Austin Nyekan would not be enough as the Lions fell 74-66 to the Phoenix. 

Phoenix's Top Performers

* Rashaan Bean finished with game high 20 points to go along with seven rebounds and a steal.

* Keion Adams recorded a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds.

* Ian Frazier finished with 11 points.

Lions' Top Performers:  

* Nyekan and Laws both scored 15 points apiece to pace the Lions offense.

* James Flagg  was the other Lions to score in double figures with 11 points to go along with five rebounds and an assist.
