LANGHORNE, Pa. – Okoye Taylor led three players in double-figure scoring with 22 points in an 82-64 Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) loss to host Cairn University Wednesday night.

Tariq Moore racked up 15 points, a team-high eight rebounds, four steals, and three assists. Anthony Burr drained four 3-pointers on his way to 14 points.

Moore scored Bryn Athyn's first basket 1:18 into the contest to give the Lions (4-19, 3-9 CSAC) their only lead of the night, 2-1. With Cairn (14-8, 9-2 CSAC) leading 10-8, the Highlanders outscored the Lions 19-4 over a 9:11 span to widen the gap to 29-12 with seven minutes left in the half.

Taylor capped a 10-2 surge with five consecutive points, including one of his three 3-pointers, to get the Lions back in the game (31-22). However, Cairn ended the final 2:29 of the half by scoring 13 of the last 15 points to lead 44-22 at the half.

In the second half, Bryn Athyn got as close as 69-57 when Burr made a fast-break layup with 5:19 left. Burr scored all 14 points of his points in the second half.

Brennan Addley recorded a game-high 23 points and 11 rebounds to lead Cairn. Jeremiah Harris had 18 points and five assists, while Malachi Hall contributed 12 points and five assists. Justin Dean and Julian Collazo each added 11 points.

Cairn controlled the paint, outscoring Bryn Athyn 44-22 in the paint and owned a 50-39 rebounding advantage.

Bryn Athyn plays its final home game of the 2019-20 season when it hosts Centenary (N.J.) on Wednesday, Feb. 19 in Asplundh Field House at 8 p.m.
