Box Score ROSEMONT, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College men's basketball team ended its 2019-20 season with an 80-62 Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) loss to host Rosemont Saturday afternoon in Alumnae Hall.
Tariq Moore shot 8-of-15 from the field on his way to a game-high 23 points. Moore also contributed five rebounds and five steals. In the final game of his collegiate career, Okoye Taylor scored 19 points on 7-of-13 shooting—3-of-5 from 3-point range.
Bryn Athyn (5-20, 4-10 CSAC) took an early 4-2 advantage with Moore made an 8-footer 2:17 into the contest. After Rosemont (10-15, 7-7 CSAC) moved ahead by one, Taylor sunk an 11-foot jumper to put the Lions back in front 6-5 at the 17:09 mark.
The one-point lead would be the Lions final advantage of the day as the Ravens answered the Taylor basket with 12 straight points to make the score 17-6 in favor of the hosts.
A Haybert Louchie jumper momentarily got the Lions within single digits (17-9) with 10:16 left in the half. Rosemont responded with eight points in a row to widen the gap to 25-9.
In the second half, the Lions would trail by as many as 20 (57-37). Bryn Athyn, led by eight points from Taylor, went on a 13-5 run to close to gap to 12—the closest the Lions would get.
Perry Belcher was Rosemont's top player, racking up 19 points and 12 rebounds. Corey McGarry had 17 points, while Tyler Morgan added 15 points.
Bryn Athyn finished the game shooting 40.7 percent (22-of-54) and Rosemont shot 41.8 percent (28-of-67).
